Yes. We do not use standard decorators' paint. We use specialist, high-grade coatings specifically designed for cabinetry. Once fully cured, the finish is robust, flexible, wipeable, and highly resistant to the daily wear, tear, and moisture found in a kitchen environment.
Typically, we will remove your doors and drawers on day one. These are taken to our workshop and usually take 3-5 days to prep and spray. We will then spend 1-2 days at your home carefully masking and spraying the fixed carcasses. Finally, we return to unmask and refit the doors. You can still use your kitchen (carefully) while the doors are away.
If the vinyl or laminate wrap is peeling badly, we usually peel it completely off to reveal the MDF core underneath. We then prime and spray the MDF, which actually provides a fantastic, stable surface for our coatings.
